Independence

• We don't sell an AI receptionist, and we aren't owned by or partnered with any vendor in the table.
• Rankings and calculator results come only from published prices. Nobody can pay to move up.
• We may earn a commission if you sign up to Make through our links. It never affects vendor rankings.
• Any affiliate link is labelled next to the link and uses rel="sponsored". If we ever run sponsored placements, they'll be clearly labelled and kept separate from the data.
• Many “best AI receptionist Australia” pages are written by vendors ranking themselves. That's fine, but it isn't what this site is.

Methodology

• Every figure is read from the vendor's own website (pricing page, FAQ or terms). Each vendor page links to its sources and shows the date checked.
• Third-party comparisons and review sites aren't used as sources, though we use them to find vendors.
• If a vendor doesn't say something (GST basis, overage, hosting), we write “not stated” rather than guessing.
• Prices are shown as listed. For like-for-like comparison we add 10% GST where a vendor says its prices are ex-GST. Where GST isn't stated, the price is shown as listed and flagged.
• All vendors currently list prices in AUD (or “$” on an Australian site), so no currency conversion is applied. If a vendor ever prices in USD, we'll state the exchange rate and date we used.
• Estimates use plan price + included usage + published overage. They leave out setup fees, add-ons and discounts.
• We plan to re-check all vendors at least monthly and log every change on the price changes page.

Who's included

AI phone answering services that sell to Australian businesses. We leave out developer voice platforms (where you build your own agent) and US services that don't show Australian availability on their own sites.
