Privacy policy

Plain English, short. Last updated 23 October 2026.

What we collect

The only personal information we collect is the email address you give us when you subscribe to the newsletter. Sign-ups go through beehiiv, the service that stores our subscriber list and sends the emails. The subscribe form on our pages is loaded from beehiiv, and beehiiv may record basic sign-up details such as the page you subscribed from. Beehiiv's own privacy policy covers how it handles that data.

How we use it

Your email is used only to send the AI Staff AU newsletter. We don't use it for anything else and we don't share it with vendors or advertisers.

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. You can leave at any time, and you won't get more emails after that.

We don't sell your data

We don't sell, rent or trade personal information. If we ever carry sponsors, they get no access to the subscriber list.

Analytics and cookies

This site doesn't currently run analytics or advertising trackers, and doesn't set its own cookies. If that changes, we'll update this page first.

Access, correction and complaints

We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us through our newsletter publication at ai-staff-au.beehiiv.com (or simply reply to any newsletter email). If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
